non-introductory introduction

I don't know quite what compelled me to create a blog, especially since I already have a live journal that I haven't updated in probably over a year, but I think it's just the fact that sometimes I have thoughts that I want to write down. It doesn't really even matter to me if anyone reads this, but I want to start writing just to write. I think of my "dream" jobs, and one of them is to write for magazines or children's books, but the reason why it is a dream and not a reality is because maybe I don't have anything to say. Isn't that what blogs are about? Not having anything to say, but writing anyway? Maybe the more you write, you just kind of come up with something. So, that's going to be my experiment. I don't intend for this to be a daily chronicle of my life, because, for the most part, I live a boring life that's not worth reading about. Whatever it will turn into, I don't know, but if for nothing else, at least I can leave comments on other people's blogs now.
